Compilation and design of the model of factors affecting the success of fintech investment in the commercial activities of knowledge-based companies

Abstract
Introduction: Today, the financial technology industry (Fintech) is developing with an ever-increasing pace, and  has attracted the attention of users. In this regard, knowledge-based companies that have tried to expand their business activities by investing in fintechs will play a pivotal role in Iran's financial system in the coming years.
Objective: The present study aims to design and develop a model of factors affecting the success of fintech investments in the commercial activities of knowledge-based companies.
Method: This research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative and qualitative data collection. Interviews and standardized questionnaires were used to gather data from participants. For the qualitative component, the study population consisted of experts and managers in knowledge-based companies. For the quantitative component, the study population included experts, industrial experts, and academic experts. Through thematic analysis using MAXQDA software, key factors influencing the success of fintech investments in these companies were identified from interview data.
Result: This research identified key themes that contribute to the success of fintech investments in the commercial activities of knowledge-based companies. These themes include marketing factors, operational factors, strategic factors, and value-added factors. Based on the qualitative data analysis, a coding model was developed. The findings of this research can guide managers of knowledge-based companies in leveraging data assets for financial gain.
