The twenty-fifth meeting of the Editorial Board of the scientific quarterly Program and Development Research was held on Sunday, 20 September 2026 (29 Shahrivar 1405) at the Development and Foresight Research Center.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Mohammad Bagher Nobakht, Editor-in-Chief of the journal; Dr. Dejpasand and Dr. Mohammadi, members of the Editorial Board; Dr. Mohammad Vali Rouzbahan, Deputy for Research and Education of the Center; and Mr. Gholami Netaj, Director General of the Office for the Publication of Scientific Resources. Other members of the Editorial Board joined the session online.
In the first part of the meeting, a comprehensive report was presented on the journal's recent performance and on the quantitative and qualitative improvements made in copy-editing, layout and the journal's visual identity.
In the second part, the Executive Manager of the journal outlined the article review and acceptance process. Members of the Editorial Board examined the reports in detail and shared their views on strengthening the journal's academic standing and enhancing the quality of its articles. The selected articles were subsequently approved by a majority of the Board for publication in forthcoming issues.
The draft "Guidelines on the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Research" was then put to discussion, and members offered their comments and proposals. Finally, the steps and requirements for the internationalization of the journal were reviewed.
