Fintech or financial technology, as an influential factor in the development of small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), which are an important part of economic activities in developing countries, leads to increased employment and poverty reduction in societies. Developing countries have realized the important role of Fintech in the development of small and medium-sized businesses in economic growth and development. This study examines the strategic factors affecting the success of Fintech in the development of small and medium-sized businesses in Iran. This study systematically reviewed 193 reputable scientific articles in English between 2001 and 2023, and ultimately 97 articles were extracted in the field of strategic factors affecting the success of Fintech in the development of small and medium-sized businesses. The meta-synthesis method was used to analyze the research literature. After studying and screening the texts, key codes were extracted and categorized with the software (MAXQDA) and organized into categories and components. Finally, the influencing factors were extracted and classified into 7 categories and 31 distinct codes. These categories are: strategic, operational, technological, value proposition, user, economic, environmental factors. Among the consequences of the application of FinTech, we can mention such things as understanding, recognizing and revealing the needs and desires of customers, target marketing classification, intelligent evolution of commercial marketing, innovation in sales, development of sales channels and optimization of the areas of use of artificial intelligence in advertising agencies. These results can help organizations and small and medium-sized businesses in Iran to develop their strategies based on modern financial technologies and FinTech.
